| We've had good luck with Linksys, just took one down that had been running, except for an occasional reboot, at least 5 years.
Replaced it with a new Linksys that has the new "N" band as well as a usb port to hook up a network storage drive.
I will say this, even with an older laptop, (5 years old) the new router with the "N" capability has made a lot of difference in the speed it connects with. Everything is much snappier now. I wanted the network storage plug, but given what I see now I would definately go to the N series if I were buying a new router today no matter what the rest of your network adapters are.
