Burning brush piles with silage blower?

would sure like to see how you built the drive for the fan..

to anyone interested, supercharging a fire with air will increase it's heat dramatically, and will burn anything you can put in there that is burnable at all. when I still had a 955L I could stack a large pile of really green stumps etc and then lift one side up while running the fan forward and this would make a monster fire. if you hang around till it is done there wont be much of anything left to bury, just have to rub out the dirt left in the pile.

If it is really windy a pit dug in the same direction as the wind leaving a walk out toward the wind will work very well too, just can't stir the pile much once it is in the hole.
