It is "rumored" that some have even stooped so low as to throw a few old car/truck tires on the pile to create more heat. Have you ever "heard" of that being done and helping the pile burn?

I"m not suggesting that anyone living or dead has actually participated in this practice, I'm just asking.

Only implement tires. No steel belts to "leave behind". The belts are what get you in trouble if "they" come looking.

Straw and diesel work well on most to get them going. Don't need tires.
bias ply work too, any tire will have metal in the bead.
