Eastern iowa | In 05’ I was having treed area cleared out to make a grassed waterway and contour plant the area much better. It was April and the excavator had a nice hole dug,trees packed tight and on fire. It was near the cities bypass and in the city limits but out in a cornfield. Not bothering anyone with heat light or smoke. A concerned citizen turned it in to the fire chief. I got a phone call from the chief and his sugestion was put a silo blower on it so it would burn faster and get it done quicker. It worked very well. | |
