East Central Mo.
I thought my post was getting too long, so I left some details out. To Kelly... Starting and stopping with the remote did kick the detent out. I remedied it with a tab of aluminum on the handle's pin. Just push and flip. A guy actually advertised this in central Iowa with a Parker wagon. I asked if he would be interested in just selling these parts since I already had a wagon and hated to pull another back to east central Mo. To Von.... I saw and envied your paint job. The hydraulic controls came with it, they were made by Lundell plastics. It has a very small remote keyfob that fits in the handle or in your pocket. Mine only uses two of the four buttons, on and off. The others must operate functions I don't have. I'd have preferred two larger buttons, they seem awfully small to find in a hurry. The solenoid valve also came from Lundell and works in combination with the remote. It diverts the oil through or around the motor. To diesel06... This was advertised as having a telescoping down spout. I didn't realize it was a shorter two piece until I got there. I ordered a 16ft. 3 piece from Shoup during their 10% off special. I lucked out, theirs are from Lundell and the remote still fits. To 345r... The owner said some hydraulic outfit in Iowa builds the power units. I don't know the specs, just that the motor is rated at around 10hp and the 14.50 decal is a torque specification. Also, from the advice on here, I replaced the brush flighting with cupped poly. I also made flanges for both telescoping tubes after seeing how hard that 6" flexible hose and clamp was to change. 4- 1/4" bolts changes them now for filling a wheat drill. The owner also stated that if you didn't unhook the battery it would run the battery down after a few days. Thinking it must be from the remote, I mounted a lighted rocker switch by the starter switch on the engine to remind me to cut the power when I kill the engine. I'd like to have a tarp someday, as much for leaves and tree buds falling in as rain.
