I run a manual valve on my hydraulic setup like yours. I end up using a tarp strap or 2 to hold it in. You might have to of the same. Usually kicks out when starting the auger up when it is full. Maybe you have an adjustable detent to handle that.
Nice job and the other poster is right about winch mounted on auger.
