WC Iowa | Perhaps I can offer an observation here. About 25 years ago I took a six evening marketing course taught by an older broker. His idea was that it was impossible for a person to know all the worldwide factors pushing the markets one way or another. There is just too much stuff going on. However, there is one place where all those influences are summarized daily - charts. I have tried to understand charts ever since then but have failed, probably because I didn't try hard enough. But, I do believe the old trader was right, it is impossible to know it all without following the charts which do know it all.
