Lacombe, Alberta | We have a Bobcat S205 and a Volvo L30B which is about the size of a JD 244. We use both everyday for different things on our dairy but I'll always try use the wheel loader first. We have a dump truck pup trailer for solid manure and the Bobcat loads about to the top on one side and then you have to push it over while the Volvo loads to the top everywhere plus you sit higher and can see what you're doing. Our Volvo had 5000 hours when we bought it and now it's at 7000 three years later. Not much has gone wrong on it except for a random exploding throttle limiter thing that cost $7000 when it broke at full throttle and destroyed its housing. Construction equipment parts can be rediculously expensive. | |
