Iowa | Ok at the risk of making a fool out of myself I’m gonna as a really dumb question. The plow disappeared here long before I was old enough to care, but I do remember smacking my head against the back window with the tractor cocked at an angle. How do you layout a field? How do you even set up a plow on a tractor? I asked my dad and what he plowed it was go to this fence post and that’s the center point of that land, plow had been set that way for previous 15 years, so you hooked on and pulled. I do like watching plowing — not saying it’s the best system, but it is neat to watch. One of those things that’s gonna be a lost art soon enough. | |
