Our worst tractor and our worst combine were built during the "golden" era of farm machinery. This new machinery hasn't been any less reliable then the machinery that came before it. Heck grandpa cracked the head on his IH TD 14A crawler twice.
Pretty disappointed in Case IH lately ...
