Breckenridge, MI | I've attached a feed tag from the mineral we're getting. We were feeding 0.5# but have cut back to 0.4# as the price has went from $459/ton last fall to $561/ton last week.
Our concentrate is 2# of Kent ArrivalMax and 3# of whole dry corn. These cattle also got free choice breeder mineral in the pen and that really seemed to help.
Our standard colored implant program is a Synovex-S (or Component E-S) at the booster and a Revalor-S for a terminal. We also give a 7 way and deworm at the terminal implant.
It is amazing how stocky they get to looking eating all that roughage.
