You have cattle, that explains why you want cheap corn.   I'm a cattle and sheep guy as well but I see nothing wrong with trying to prop up the corn market with ethanol usage.  

So, which nasty old farmer outbid you for land and now you're pizzed.    I'm sure that's part of the problem, right?



I have more corn than cattle. Cheap corn does not help me. I use ethanol and distillers. Bought the last peice of land I bid on.

Most of the cattle I feed are bought at the barn. Price of corn goes down price of cattle goes up. It’s a margin game.


Did not say I was anti ethanol. Said it was not a renewable resource and should not be mandated. I also think the government should not subsidize crop insurance.
