Boo, hoo, hoo. You sound like several other cattle guys on here. Ethanol cut into Your cheap, subsidized corn and now You know what it is like to have to pay actual costs for Your feed. Cheap corn was just begging to find another use, and we did. Cattle guys were not paying, so Ethanol was adopted.

Oil companies hate it. They want to sell gas laced with MTBE that poisoned water. They got immunity from lawsuits in exchange for using Ethanol, plus a blenders credit. Blenders credit is GONE for what, 10 yrs now, and the Oil co's are pushing to get rid of Ethanol. What are they going to use for an oxygenate?

E-85 is proof of Ethanol's ability to cut back on using oil. %85 of the mileage, at %65 of the price of regular gas.

Plus there is #40 of high quality feed, and 2.8 gallons of Ethanol from every bushel of corn used for Ethanol. WIN, WIN!
