My Kenworth has what is called the Spicer LMS series aluminum hubs. They have the spacer between the bearing cones as well. Above posted mentioned the spacer may be wore, and it's probably true. It wouldn't have to be wore very much, and if the nuts are re-torqued, it would be too tight.

I personally do not care for the set up. But it seems to work.
