Texas | If all you are going to use it for is tilling the garden once a year maybe hire it done? Not sure about your area but here there are several guys with kubotas and tillers that will come till an average sized garden for $100. You could hire it done for 20+ years for what a tiller costs.
Those 3pt tillers do an awesome job. I usually run the chisel plow over it and water before they get here and I get excellent results.
