We have a 6500gal tank and a 800 gal self-propelled sprayer. We used to have low water pressure and volume so it took that big tank to keep up. Moved it yesterday to a new well and had 2600 gallons in it in three hours or so, so we don't really need that kind of volume but if power goes out or pump quits we have a cushion to get it fixed and can keep spraying in the meantime.
