My understanding is that you can only withdraw a certain volume of acetylene/min from any given size of acetylene tank or that the acetylene becomes unstable and there is a risk of explosion. Thus, the maximum size of rosebud tip depends on the size of your acetylene tank.
Do they make different "Rose Bud" heating tip sizes?
