Central ND | I dont know a darn thing about shops. A late dear and good friend pointed out that if you use 4 ply posts 8 feet apart, or a 3 ply post spaced on 6 feet or stick build with a 2x6 every 2 feet you have the exact same material in the side wall support, but stick build is alot more ridgid between the spans due to no big span between the wall studs like poles spaced out 6 and 8 foot have. And finishing and insulating and wireing is MUCH nicer.
