Those old building parts have tremendous value to some folks and with good reason. Ya can't beat the looks and quality of the old handmade doors, sash, and trim. My 1949 house has an entrance door from the old 1860's house that once occupied the same place. Great-great Grandad walked through it most of his whole life.

Even the window glass has value to it - you can't buy the old wavy crinkled glass anymore and folks doing restorations look for it to be authentic.
