Subject: RE: I have a perfect example

Eastern ND
I've been across North Dakota this winter and I use E-85. I have only found 1 Cenex gas station that handled E-85. Cassleton ND, which has an ethanol plant 2 miles away. The price of E-85 is $1.60. E-10 is $2.40.

Why won't a farmer owned/member owned gas station sell a product many/ most of their owners grow? My guess is the oil side of the company got orders to price E-85 high enough so it won't sell.

Right now it is 3+ cents per mile cheaper to use E-85 in My vehicle. Driving 1000 miles per month, that is $360 per year savings. Why can't the Corn grower organizations get this information out? I think they are more interested in going on sales trips to other countries on our dime, than trying to sell a locally produced product to the local consumer.
