(see e15 rvp waiver). Read, understand. Do it again and again and again. the ethanol fight from big oil is all about market share...they do not want to give it up (or get it back). If there truly was a free market, i am all for unshackling the ethanol industry (and american farmer). There is not...so #rfs must be protected.


How is that the case with Valero and Marathon the two of the largest gasoline distributors/refiners in the country, why would they care who they buy from. They buy their oil and ethanol from others and produce no oil themselves. You are equating oil with gas. We also import a lot of gasoline directly. Just because the store say Exxon does not mean it is Exxon refined gasoline.
