Really, years ago the telephone company wanted to run a cable across my field. They paid me a dollar, $1 US dollar, one George Washington in cash. When I objected they told me to go to court. They told me that they could put in the line and then we could argue about paying for it. Obviously the cost of going to court was more than I'd ever get for it.
Don't tell me about eminent domain.
