East Central South Dakota | redoak, the last thing we need to do is quit discussing our opinions. We maybe need to learn how to disagree better, but agriculturalists don't learn how to tell our story it will/and is being told for us and we have no control or input on the narrative. There are parts of the ethanol industry/marketing that I don't really like also---having an independent mind set a producer has. The first step in the ethanol discussion is admitting free markets are not even close to fair markets and the powers of the universe that have absolute control over their specific industry are going to use that power to crush new market entries------especially in mature industries of the commodities that have huge capital demands to enter the market. |
