Subject: RE: Carmel "Goo" Recipe ~

central - east central Minnesota -

Carol makes her's from frozen bread dough - 2 loaves.

The "goo"  -  ½ cup butter,  1 cup brown sugar,  1 large or 2 small pkgs of vanilla pudding (not instant), 2 tablespoons milk, Cinnamon to taste. (walnuts and craisions (dryed cranberries) or raisens to suit - (usually on my half). lol

Thaw the bread dough - do not let it raise. When thawed, break up one loaf into small pieces onto the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan. Set aside for the moment (guy thing - as we can't multi task).

Melt butter, then add brown sugar, pudding mix, milk and cinnamon. Mix all ingredients together and pour over the broken bread in the pan that was set aside . . . .

Nuts and craisions of choice can be added now -

Break the second loaf on top of the mixture and let rise . . . (can be refrigerated overnight to rise adn baked in the morning . . .

Bake about 30 minutes @ 350° F . When done, turn upside down on a tray, cookie sheet or aluminum foil . . .

Eat . . .

Kringles only seem to get made around the holidays . . . I'll drop a few hints and see what turns up - don't hold your breath . .. lol
