Obviously 6-24-6 has been a good choice for a lot of people, because it is a lot more popular than it was even 5 years ago. The fact that remains is not all 6-24-6 is the same. At the time of that posting there was 3.9 BPA between the 2 6-24-6's. I was using $2.00 for the price of corn, so that was $7.80 more per acre return. The cheap product was only $1.25/acre less cost, leaving $6.55/acre better return for the better 6-24-6.
Buying just any 6-24-6 does not guarantee you the better product. And again as stated above nobody wins 100% of the time. That is why the long term averages show a much better idea of what might work on your farm.
