My wife was at my accountants yesterday getting some training on our new tax software, and he informed her a farmer is entitled to write off one gun! Never heard of that. ..........
I asked our accountant about that a couple years ago, when I added one. He told me I could, but recommended against it. Said it usually invites snooping to determine the actual use of it, which then invites further snooping and verification on other stuff. It's (other stuff) all legit, but don't want to go thru the session, so decided to just enjoy the new toy.
Above you said "center punch the shoulder". Never heard that, so what does it mean?
