| Johnny, I just so happen to have a Henry case hardened 45/70! Was in Hart bros. in MC about mid November and sure nuff they had one. I also bought a Henry in .41 magnum. Shot a half dozen does with it, limited my shots to 120 yards. Aimed for center of vitals. All went down within 25-75 yards or so. All bullets passed thru. Really enjoy that little rifle. The 45/70 not so much. Recoil fairlystout. I center punch the shoulder when using the big guns. I havnt had one so much as twitch. Still, when I'm buck hunting, gonna use the 45/70. Starting to set up my reloading room. I havnt reloaded before. Like all my hobbies, I'm prolly going overboard.
