Subject: thumbs up WItitan2

I was thinking the same thing. Do the states who have restrictions on magazine capacity have fewer mass shootings? I know this isn't a very good test since we have more shootings in Chicago than most cities but the majority of guns and ammo used in Chicago come from out of state. Indiana has much less restrictive gun laws and amtrack can get a hood rat to mississippi and back in a couple days with a suitcase full of whatever they sell. If magazine size restrictions did reduce mass shootings maybe the next generation would leave shotguns and smaller capacity rifles alone. This could be enough of a compromise to keep controls centered rather than swinging left. If something isn't done the swing to the left is going to be hard to stop. Early primary voting turnout is showing more democrats showing up earlier than usual. It doesn't help matters that the surviving kids from the Florida shooting look like they could all be on the debate team. Cameras love these young politicians and we will continue to see them as long as the ratings hold up. Very few of us had to experience active shooter drills when we were in school compared to 90% of today's kids. There are 2.2 million farms in the U.S. and every year just under 4 million 18 year olds gain the right to vote. Those kids won't feel the same way about gun laws as the older generation does.
