n.c.iowa | Never did a casting, I probably could trim and rechamber, but there is another area of issue that a new barrel would fix. It had been left behind the seat of a pkp a number of years back, and there are some rust pits towards the muzzle end.
Nothing real special on the creedmore, bushnel 4x16 trophy master, 30mm tube.
On the swift I actually have a leupold varixlll, varmint reticle, 3x12, at least I think think that’s what I got on it. Been awhile since I looked at the scope.
Been a bunch of creedmore based rifles bought here the last couple years, I was always partial to the 25-06’s, I got a pair of them, and the savage one has just been dead nuts on, but boy does she got a big boom. And I just didn't have the accuracy on that round beyond 600 yards.
So I guess we’ll see what the creedmore round has to offer. | |
