Throat erosion is pretty bad, so i’m not sure if a different material would be better, I don’t think a heavy weight barrel would have made a difference, the thing was pretty darned accurate.
I should have backed off the loads, but being somewhat a hot rodder at heart, and the swift being one of the more iconic wildcat cartridges, running it at the grimy edge seemed appropriate. | |
