Anybody have any experience ungluing PVC pipe ?

If you have a can of the PVC primer try this if you want to unglued a joint: cut pipe to be removed flush with the fitting you want to remove it from. Apply the PVC primer inside of the cut off pipe. Light it with a torch, matches, etc. Let it burn about 30 seconds. Take a screwdriver and put it between the pipe and the fitting. Wiggle it in prying the pipe inward away from the fitting to be saved. Then clamp a vice grips in the area you have pried open. Twist the vice grips and the pipe will curl around the vice grips and peel off the fitting. I'm sure there are YouTube videos that would show it better... that's where I learned the trick.
