If I can get to the piece I want out, I will take a sawsall and cut a groove in the soon to be destroyed piece first. Not all the way through, just enough to get it to start peeling out easier.
Never had a problem with resealing the joint.
ETA...you can take a couple of hose clamps and give the tee a little support.
Anybody have any experience ungluing PVC pipe ?
