I thought I'd post a pic of what I made for a meeting I had tonight.   A few of the NAT'ers on here have gotten to partake personally.  (Loran thinks they are pretty good anyway!) The recipe is on my blog.

We had the cinnamon rolls, chili soup and baked potato soup.  Good warm comfort food on a cold, wet night.  Glad there is left-overs for tomorrow! :

Now I want some.  I'm just gonna chew on my two slices of bread and pretend they are cinnamon rolls. It's just not the same. Can't you e-mail them to us;-)

I'm gonna have to get the wife to make me some. Thanks for the recipe.

Mix equal parts sugar and cinnamon. spread liberally on your two slices of bread and toast in the oven or microwave (need to be kept flat so a toaster won't work).

Looks good.

If I leave now, I could eat those in about 24 hours from now. If PB doesn't eat them first. LOL

I think a couple others could verify.......but I must be the only one that leaves comments on your blog B^)

Maybe you could offer them on Cafe' Express, and have a weekly/dailey shipment option??

Embarrass WI

Loran, if you really want sweet rolls delivered, go to www.sweetroll.com and get some from the Hilltop restaurant in Lanse MI. I have had them, and they are pretty darn good, not to mention that one sweet roll makes a meal.

PG's sure look good, tho.......

central - east central Minnesota -

Carol makes her's from frozen bread dough - 2 loaves.

The "goo"  -  ½ cup butter,  1 cup brown sugar,  1 large or 2 small pkgs of vanilla pudding (not instant), 2 tablespoons milk, Cinnamon to taste. (walnuts and craisions (dryed cranberries) or raisens to suit - (usually on my half). lol

Thaw the bread dough - do not let it raise. When thawed, break up one loaf into small pieces onto the bottom of a greased 9x13 pan. Set aside for the moment (guy thing - as we can't multi task).

Melt butter, then add brown sugar, pudding mix, milk and cinnamon. Mix all ingredients together and pour over the broken bread in the pan that was set aside . . . .

Nuts and craisions of choice can be added now -

Break the second loaf on top of the mixture and let rise . . . (can be refrigerated overnight to rise adn baked in the morning . . .

Bake about 30 minutes @ 350° F . When done, turn upside down on a tray, cookie sheet or aluminum foil . . .

Eat . . .

Kringles only seem to get made around the holidays . . . I'll drop a few hints and see what turns up - don't hold your breath . .. lol

I thought "cruel and unusual punishment" was outlawed! My goodness that looks good. I've been away from home traveling too long I guess.
