Elizabethtown,KY | I think one of Gillispie's shortcomings was the fact that he was not a good ambassador for KY basketball, and he was rude with the media, and missing the NCAA this year was the final nail in the coffin. I'd like to see Travis Ford or John Pelphrey chosen, it would be good to see a former player get a chance again. I don't know why Gillispie was chosen in the first place, he was way over his head in this job, it takes someone special to handle the pressure at KY, personally I'm glad to see him gone, I might add that I am a graduate of UK. While they are at it they ought to fire Barnhart (AD) as well, he got in too much of a hurry last time when Tubby left.
