Northwest Ohio | Was up there 3 summers ago. I'd say McKinley was the highlight for me ... saw the mountain look like it was a couple miles away ... then found out it was still 90 miles away. We were fortunate to have good visibility weather while up there, weather sounds like it's usually a crapshoot. Also took a flight tour around McKinley in a little 4-seater ... I would definately recommend that if you like flying (looked about like you could reach out and touch the mountain).
One thing to remember is that if you're going up there in the summer, they have lots of daylight. | |
