NW oklahoma | I had a 2005 international 8500 with the ht570 which I think is the same thing as Maxxforce and it was the worst piece of equipment I have ever owned. I bet I had 20k in repairs on that pile and it still was not even close to reliable. I bought the truck for 15k put a $3,500 bed on it, had it a couple years, mayb 12,000 miles, spent around $20,000 trying to keep it going never did fix its overheating issue. Ended up selling it on bigiron for like $8,000 that’s hard on the finances. Oh and never buy a truck from gm trucks in larado, tx. The truck broke down on the way home and they could not care less that I was stranded 10hrs from home and pretty much laughed at me when I asked for help with the bill. Even though I pretty much gave the truck away I was still smiling when it left my farm. | |
