I bought this farm in 1970 and built a new shed 40x90 with a 35' shop on the west end with 12' sidewalls which let the 4400 combine in . When we went to 7700 we had to lower the air pressure to back in and air back up We later put a 20' lean to on the north side down to 8' eve open to the east We moved the shop wall from 35' to 50' to north end and put a 4' x4' x20' service pit. We trenched the walls installed rebar then poured full of concrete then dug out the dirt. In 2006 a small tornado took off most of the roof We replaced 5 sheets with 2sheets 1 about 43' long. About 2010 I poured a concrete floor in the east 40 ' of the lean to and sprayed foam under the roof and the outside of the north wall. I put a 4' and 10 ' swinging doors in the east end and a 4' door between the 2 shops. The east shop is for woodwork and painting and the big shop is for mechanicle an welding and is not insulated The north part is for parts and steel lathe and ironworker For heat I use a large radient heater with a 100 pound bottle of lp pointed where I am working. It is mounted on a 2 wheeled wheel borrow so easly moved I have a lot of pallet racking for storage and a electric forl lift for lifting and variable ht workbench I also have a a frame hoist with 2 chain hoists that also works for engine stand

supper time
