You can get NMEA out of the laptop port on the NavII. This is the DB-9 connector on the auxillary harness (p/n 54602) next to the green LED. With AP toolbox or with of your FMD / FMX you can configure NMEA output to the right settings.


This information is correct. If you happen to be using an EZ-Guide 500 as the dispay/interface for the autopilot you make the setting changes directly from the 500. This is on a menu relating to the autopilot configuration.
