I have been using a venturi of one form or another over twenty years. The main thing to making them work "fast" is to eliminate any down stream restrictions. Either by reducing the number of fittings and using a separate port in the sprayer tank or putting a Tee fitting at the tank so flow can go both to pump feed line and the tank.
