I wouldn't be worried about dry ams going thru your pump especially if it's poly pump. We've had our inductors on suction side from the start. Over 2m gal through the generic transfer pump wo issue.
Same here...
I have run all my chemicals through my pumps for nearly 20 yea and I think I have worn out maybe 1 or two cheap pacer style pumps in that time frame.
