I wouldn't be worried about dry ams going thru your pump especially if it's poly pump. We've had our inductors on suction side from the start. Over 2m gal through the generic transfer pump wo issue.
Gee, in that case, maybe I shouldn’t waste my time, effort, and mental resources.
