The tube fitting size number is the number of 1/16" of the tube or fitting. That is a number 4 is 4*1/16 or 4/16 which is 1/4" and so forth, a number 8 is 1/2" a 16 is one inch.
How can you tell what size of JIC hyd fittings you have?
