| saw multiple fires yesterday caused by powerlines whipping together. Saw the east side of one building blown completely away. This place had been around since the 20's and was still being used as a shop by some oilfield guys.
Dad said he was making electricity like mad the past two days. Sunday was better with the lower wind velocity, Mondays gusts kept overspeeding the generator and shutting it down. Said he looked at the new meter the power company put on pole the middle of Jan. and he had already produced over 9000KW and he had only bought 1000KW off the line.
I am ready for this to slow down a little. I dont know how you guys do it out in Wyoming. This is probably a pretty common day for someone out there. | |
