I would like to give the family my condolences for their losses, terrible accident!  For whatever reason the pilot decided to change from Bozeman to Butte maybe running thin on fuel???   But ultimately looks like he must have stalled the aircraft on final causing a spin to the ground,  nothing to do with overgross weight, or too many people.  My .02 cents.
