We are planting EVERY acre to Soybeans BECAUSE for us at $10 they are $150+ an acre more profitable than $4 corn (Your area will be different of course)
We have never planted more than 2/3 soybeans (last year) in 2012 and 2013 we planted every acre to corn
We have seen that a wheat CC, fully treated soybean seed, and an application of fungicide will mostly mitigate the yield drag caused by beans after beans
I would post our average SB yields for the last 4 years but you would think I was lying--however we also raise pretty good corn

IMO we need to be locking $10 price on a good % of our beans --haven't figured in how CI fits into all this yet
In our area if we have our normally good basis levels -- $10 Nov. beans = $10.20+ when we haul in Jan 2019
