| We have seen several brake valves on 10 series with a cut/blown oring on the load sense valve inside the brake valve assembly. It is not easy to access but can be done in the cab. This may not be your problem though. These tractors, when this oring is cut, will have a constant engine under load sound. When you push the pedals down slightly, the engine will speed up. You can hear the pump relieve the strain on engine. You might check and see if yours does the opposite and that when either pedal is pushed that the pump sounds as if it's pumping a lot of oil to the final drives. You could possibly have a large leak in the brake piston area. This would cause a loss of oil at scv because steering and brakes take priority over them. Let us know what you find. Sounds interesting. | |
