Northern Indiana | Chainsaw Sisters neorth of Ely Mn on Echo trail comes to mind. This place is in the middle of nowhere.
The patrons were people as regular as you and I, but the place was just a small 30x30 maybe shack. Older lady with a refrigerator and cans of beer. When asked what she has for beer, she pointed to a row of empty beer cans of various kinds. She also rented canoes.
That was it. no more no less. Not a bad place at all, just not your typical bar!
