Sometimes when you are no-tilling wheat in those conditions you just have to look the other way and keep on going. Look behind a hoe type air seeder some time and you think, wow, but it always seems to come up and grow. As a friend used to say, "planting wheat is easy, even a combine can do it." And too deep is bad.
