Northeastern Pa. | Good question as I felt I was born to farm. I had asthma and allergies real bad from birth to my teens so I wasn't much help to my dairy farmer dad. I was always a shade tree farmer. I wanted to be a State trooper but ended up going to a paper mill after high school. Helping on the farm and eventually getting married and having kids. I started out farming part time and doing custom work. Hated the paper mill so I left after 24 years to farm full time. As a farmer I have never felt that I contributed much to the cause compared to many. I did feel our custom work was led by God in helping others. So I guess I was led to farm so I had the equipment to help others. | |
