Chariton Iowa | Went this summer, with kids and in-laws, was kinda disappointed, don't know what I was expecting but it didn't live up to the hype for me. Maybe I need to go with out kids for a different take, stayed on-site and was impressed by the network of buses to get from here to there rather quickly, kinda neat how the resort can shuffle people through the Cafes and buses stay so orderly and the whole place parks and all are spotless. Glad we went but don't think I have the need to go back, kids would ask by noon if we could go back to room and swim. Wasn't a bad trip by any means just didn't meet the hype to me. | |
